Goal Setting from an Instructional Design Perspective
Traditional goal setting methods involve a lot of buzz words and phrases as well as lists – lots of lists. Set your goals, reach for the moon, make a plan, work your plan, never give up! The question is, does all that really work? While these methods hold some value, they are only a small part of the process of realizing your potential.
How to Achieve Immortality teaches you a unique and effective approach to goal setting. It’s a process used by educators all over the world called backward design. In this workshop, you will learn to break your goals into objectives that can be achieved through processes, education/training, mentoring, and experimentation. Then, you’ll gather the tools and the components to develop a workable plan. Ultimately, this workshop is about making things happen one step at a time while leaving a legacy for the next generation.
Teens (13-19) are free when accompanied by a registered adult. Please reserve a ticket for each attendee. DNA matching is not required. Just plan to share some wisdom with someone you love. Let's get them started on the road to success!
